Kate Moss biography

Biography:
One of the most prominent supermodels of the 90s decade was the ultra-thin Kate Moss. She was consistently scrutinized over her slim look and her detractors often speculated that she was anorexic, thus she gave birth to the style of supermodel known as the “waif.” For models, she is very short, standing at 5′ 6″. Her measurements are 34A-26- 35.5. As she became more and more popular, critics also claimed that Moss influenced young women and girls to become anorexic, since the disease became more common as the young supermodel rose to stardom.
Moss was born in Addiscombe, England, on January 16, 1974; and she was 14 when she was “discovered” by a modeling agency. She went on to grace the covers of many publications before becoming the face of Calvin Klein. Her rise to stardom began with a controversial photo shoot for the designer, and she was featured nude in one of their ads. Later she went on to become the likeness for such big-name designers as Gucci, Chanel, and Versace.
She has been romantically attached to such celebs as musician Lenny Kravitz and actor Johnny Depp. She has gone on to become one of the wealthiest and influential women alive; and a nude portrait of the model by artist Lucian Freud sold for over $7 Million in early 2005.
